Evidence from engagements, not generic praise

These notes come from compliance leads and founders who commissioned audits for fintech programmes with us. Length and tone vary because the work did.

“They insisted on sampling refund overrides even when we hoped to skip them. The finding stung, but it was the one our Series B counsel thanked us for fixing first.”
Mei-Ling Chen · Head of Compliance · consumer lending fintech, Taipei · Fintech Controls Audit
“The readiness memo arrived twelve days before our filing target. Two gaps would have been embarrassing in the interview. Scheduling felt tight — we wished we had booked them a month earlier.”
Jonas Berg · Co-founder · e-wallet applicant · Pre-Licence Readiness Review
“Adrian’s walkthrough with our payments ops lead lasted almost three hours. Exhausting, and more useful than the binder we had polished for weeks.”
Priya Natarajan · COO · cross-border remittance firm · Fintech Controls Audit
“The diligence index alone saved our counsel from chasing screenshots in Slack. I still think the fee was steep for a three-week pack, though the investor Q&A notes earned it back.”
Wei-Ting Hsu · CFO · wealth-tech Series A · Investor Diligence Audit Pack
“Follow-up re-testing confirmed three closed items and reopened one we had marked done too early. Better we heard it from Network Security Hub than from the inspector.”

Extended note

Consumer lender, Taipei — controls audit before diligence

A consumer-lending team approached us eight weeks before opening a Series B data room. Their internal self-assessment rated change control as strong; sample testing found emergency production edits without dual approval on fee engines.

We graded the pattern as high, walked the engineering manager through a revised approval path, and left a remediation sequence that fit a four-week sprint calendar. When investor advisors sampled the same population later, the open items had shrunk to documentation tidy-ups.

The engagement did not include building the new approval tooling — that stayed with their product team — which kept independence intact for the follow-up assessment two months later.
